Privacy

The request contains household and contact details. We treat it as operational data, not public content.

What we collect

We collect the contact, property, water, service, timing, consent and optional photo details you submit, plus basic security and attribution information needed to operate and protect the service.

How matching works

We review early requests manually. With your consent, a request may be offered to up to two eligible independent providers that support the relevant ZIP and service. Contact and street-address details are released to an assigned provider after that provider accepts. Your request is not sold to unrelated data brokers.

Why we use it

We use information to verify requests, match services, prevent abuse, communicate status, support providers, measure marketplace performance and comply with law. We retain information only as reasonably needed for those purposes and dispute prevention.

Site analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand standard traffic, device, referral and site-navigation patterns and to measure the early homeowner and provider funnels. We do not intentionally send request-form contents, uploaded filenames, contact information, exact addresses, ZIP codes, account identifiers, project references, provider identities or private access tokens to Google Analytics. Private request and opportunity routes are reduced to generic page paths before measurement. Learn more about Google's privacy practices.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete a request, subject to legal and operational retention needs, by emailing privacy@watersofteners.com. Do not submit medical records, government identifiers, payment-card information or unrelated sensitive data.

Important distinction

Water hardness and drinking-water safety are different questions. WaterSofteners.com does not diagnose health risks or replace certified testing, a utility report, public-health guidance or professional advice.
